The photographer Alexander Ivanovich Hydrov (77) ("the oldest photographer in Ukraine") and his wife, the journalist Valentina Pawlowa Hydrowa (65), show the damage to her house, which has been damaged by the fighting. Alexander has a tumour in his mouth, in his opinion a consequence of the fights during which she was in the cellar of a factory. The tumour cannot be operated on. Both were born in Russia, but see themselves as Ukrainians. "Home is where you take your children to world", says Valentina. Although they were promised help, none has come so far.
