Donezk in Limbo

Donetsk is the centre of the Donbass coalfield and was the fifth largest city in the country before the Ukrainian war.The city is now under the control of the internationally unrecognised People's Republic of Donetsk and serves as its capital. The feeling of the city is Soviet, the new heroes are intensively revered, the front as well as Russia are close, the future uncertain.
